The conditions for this are listed below, if you have any questions please get in touch prior to your purchase. You will find these stipulations will be the same as anyone else however we are the UK’s premier Chinese motorcycle dealer and offer the best in workshop service nationwide. This means you can be assured that any work carried out on any vehicle is of the highest standard and quality of work. We do highly recommend that customers consider purchasing one of our ‘Labour Only’ warranties (parts are covered by your manufacturers parts warranty) from as little as £59 for a more comprehensive peace of mind warranty, this can be updated periodically (comprehensive warranties can be purchased here). Most workshops charge £45 per hour to just take a look at a vehicle, so having a warranty such as this can be greatly cost effective. Transportation is not covered by your warranty in any instance, most insurance companies offer breakdown cover as part of their service, worth checking this out.
Each claim instance is unique therefore we do look at each claim in detail and never generalise an issue. Our highly experienced & trained engineers are able to diagnose most issues over the phone or via image/ video therefore if it is a simple fix we will supply full guidance on how to best go around rectifying the issue and can in certain circumstances send parts directly to you which you feel confident to carry out the repair with our workshop assistance.
All our new vehicles come with a 5 year parts and labour warranty. The labour costs are only met in one of our branches – we will not pay for any work to be carried out on any vehicle outside of Biking Direct under any circumstance.
To maintain your warranty you must have the vehicle serviced as per the manufactures requirements and send proof to us (can be text, email, website submission or post) to enable us to update your records and maintain your warranty. If you do not supply us (as with any other dealer) within the timescale required your warranty will become void.
If you happen to feel like you have an issue with the vehicle we would recommend the following procedure:
1: Contact us via our warranty submission form below for warranty requirements and fill in all fields.
2: We will pass your query to the appropriate workshop manager best positioned to deal with your request who will investigate the submission.
3: You will receive a call back from a workshop manager in a timely manner who will go over the issue you may have and attempt to diagnose and remedy any issue there and then. In many cases this resolves the issue.
4: If it is decided that the vehicle needs workshop attention there are 2 options.
4a. Arrange for us to collect and fix the scooter/motorcycle under warranty for a small fee to collect and re-deliver – warranty transportation is calculated at 20p per mile to either IV30 6AA or DD2 3UY and back.
4b. Take your vehicle to a local VAT Registered dealer near you for inspection. Upon diagnosis and knowing what parts are required we will send these directly to the garage free of charge. Under no circumstances will we be paying for the labour costs at any 3rd party garage. These costs will have to be met by you.
Parts covered by your warranty are covered under the same conditions as stated in the warranty book/pdf supplied with the vehicle.
Again, we strongly recommend a more comprehensive warranty available here which can be used and any VAT registered garage which covers labour & parts.
