The 2026 SURRON LBX 10WK represents the biggest step forward yet for one of the world’s most successful lightweight electric off-road bikes. Building on the reputation of the original Light Bee platform, the new LBX has been redesigned with more power, improved technology, enhanced rider safety and a host of new features that make it even more capable on private land, woodland trails, farms and dedicated off-road riding areas.

At the heart of the new LBX is an all-new 10kW high-performance electric motor, producing an incredible 217ft-lb of wheel torque. This represents a significant increase over the previous generation, giving riders stronger acceleration, improved climbing ability and even greater confidence across challenging terrain. With instant electric torque available from the moment you twist the throttle, the LBX delivers exhilarating performance without the need for gears or a clutch.

New 72V Battery System

Power comes from a newly developed 72V 35Ah lithium battery pack using 505 premium lithium cells. The higher voltage battery works alongside SURRON’s latest controller technology to deliver stronger performance while maintaining smooth and predictable power delivery. The removable battery allows convenient charging away from the bike and can be charged from 20% to 80% in approximately 2.15 hours.

The battery pack has also been engineered for durability, featuring an aluminium housing, IP67 water and dust protection and a sophisticated Battery Management System that continuously monitors performance, temperature and charging conditions.

Intelligent Rider Technology

One of the biggest upgrades on the new SURRON LBX 2026 10KW is the introduction of intelligent rider assistance technology. Riders can choose between Sport and Eco riding modes while also benefiting from adjustable regenerative braking with five selectable levels.

New for 2026 is SURRON Wheelie Control, a fully configurable system designed to help riders manage front wheel lift under acceleration. Learning Mode provides a confidence-building introduction for less experienced riders, while Advanced Mode unlocks additional adjustment options for experienced users. Settings can be adjusted through the SURRON app, allowing riders to tailor the bike to their own riding style.

The bike also introduces an Emergency Brake Fast Flash function. During heavy braking the rear LED light automatically flashes rapidly, helping alert following riders and improving visibility in demanding riding situations.

Confidence Inspiring Handling

The forged aluminium alloy double cradle frame continues to deliver the lightweight agility that made the original Light Bee so popular. Combined with upgraded suspension and professional off-road wheels, the LBX 2026 feels incredibly stable while remaining easy to manoeuvre through tight woodland trails and technical sections.

The front suspension offers 200mm of travel while the Intersect TR rear suspension system works alongside a fully adjustable rear shock to maximise traction and rider comfort.

The professional wheel package now combines a 19-inch front wheel with an 18-inch rear wheel, giving improved obstacle clearance, enhanced grip and more predictable handling across loose terrain.

Powerful Braking Performance

Stopping performance has also been significantly improved thanks to integrated forged opposed four-piston hydraulic brake calipers. Larger pistons and upgraded hydraulic components provide stronger braking performance while improving feel and control at the lever. Combined with the lightweight chassis, the braking package delivers excellent confidence whether descending steep hills or approaching technical trail sections.

Surron Service Schedule

In order to maintain the warranty, vehicles are required to be serviced at the correct intervals. Failure to do so will render the warranty void. It is highly recommend that the user has the vehicle maintained to ensure increased safety & vehicle longevity. It is possible to buy service kits here if you prefer to maintain your vehicle yourself however your warranty will become void unless a VAT registered garage carries out each service and validates this by filling in the service book accordingly.
